Air Force Academy Head Tells Racists to 'Get Out'

The superintendent of the U.S. Air Force Academy is strongly denouncing racial slurs found at the Academy Preparatory School campus in Colorado. Lieutenant General Jay Silveria told cadets this week to "get out" of the Air Force if they can't treat people of other races with respect.

The racial slurs were written on the message boards of a group of black cadet candidates.  Silveria said there's no place in the Air Force for that kind of behavior.  The prep campus is located near the United States Air Forces Academy in Colorado Springs.  The academy is investigating.
