John Ross breaks the 40-yard dash record

Former Washington wide receiver John Ross set an NFL Combine record in the 40-yard dash today. Ross ran a 4.22, which was .02 better than former record holder Chris Johnson. You can watch him run below.

Ross will certainly be on the Bengals' radar. There was some speculation that he could fall to round two due to his injury history. I'm expecting him to be drafted in round one after his record-setting performance. Would the Bengals consider drafting him with the ninth pick?

I discussed Ross's NFL potential on the Locked on Bengals podcast. You can listen to that here

NFL Draft analyst Joe Goodberry thinks Ross is better than Clemson wide receiver Mike Williams. He thinks Ross' game is a lot like Odell Beckham's. I'd be shocked if the Bengals didn't consider taking Ross in round one. It doesn't mean they will, but he is one of the best wide receivers in this class.

I think it's time for the Bengals to release Adam Jones.

Here's an in-depth look at Bengals' free agency.

Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com believes they will stand by Jeremy Hill and could lose Kevin Zeitler.

The Bengals should be interested in free agent Nick Mangold.

Pro Football Focus' latest mock draft would be ideal for the Bengals.
