The Bengals have focused on retaining their own players since the start of free agency. It looks like that will change on Monday. Defense end Connor Barwin will be in town visiting with the Bengals according to Adam Caplan.
The Bengals need to upgrade at pass rusher. Barwin played football at the University of Cincinnati before being drafted by the Houston Texans in 2009. Barwin was released by the Philadelphia Eagles last week. He has 319 tackles and 50.5 sacks in his eight-year career.
Barwin was one of the free agents I wrote about last week. I think he would fit in well with the Bengals.
