Marvin Lewis made headlines today. Something tells me he didn't mean to. Lewis doesn't agree with the NFL's decision to ease up on celebration penalties.
Here's an excerpt of what he told ESPN's Katherine Terrell:
“I’m not for that at all,” Lewis said. “We had a good standard, and the whole standard has always been, you want to teach people how to play the game the correct way and go about it the correct way, and that’s not a very good example for young people.”
That quote led to this tweet from Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
Some will say that is an unfair criticism, but something tells me most will agree with Florio. Either way, most fans will make fun of Lewis for this. In honor of Lewis' comments, let's watch some of the best touchdown celebrations in NFL history.
