The Atlanta Braves traded Brandon Phillips

Former Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips has been traded to the Los Angeles Angels. The Atlanta Braves acquired Philips from the Reds in a trade back in February. 

Phillips, 36, is batting .291/.329/.423 this season. He has played a career-high 25 games a third base.
