The Bengals signed an offensive lineman today! The team announced they agree to terms with Bobby Hart. Hart, drafted in the seventh round of the 2015 draft, has played in 33 NFL games. He started 21 games in three seasons for the Giants. Hart played 522 snaps during the 2017 season, which included seven starts.
Hart was the 67th best tackle in 2016 and 74th in 2017 according to Pro Football Focus.
Marvin Lewis released this statement about the signing:
“Bobby is a young player with three years of NFL experience, and he has very good upside and tools,” said Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis. “We are excited to add him to the team as we improve our offensive line. The offensive line is a focus area for us, and this is one of various steps we are taking to improve our performance.”
