WATCH: New Reds manager David Bell hits for the cycle

The Reds announced that David Bell would be their 63rd manager. Bell signed a three-year deal with a club option for a fourth season. 

Bell was the Vice President of Player Development for the San Francisco Giants last season. He was on the St. Louis Cardinals' staff for four years before that. Bell also spent one season in Chicago as their third base coach. He managed in the Reds' farm system in Double-A (2009-2011) and in Triple-A Louisville (2012).

Bell is a Cincinnati-native. He went to Moeller High School and helped lead the Crusaders to a State Championship in 1989. 

The Reds will introduce Bell on Monday morning at 11.  

Bell, 46, posted a .257 batting average and hit 123 home runs in his 12-year career. He played for Cleveland, St. Louis, Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Milwaukee.

He hit for the cycle in 2004. Watch the video below.
