The Reds have won three straight.............riding solid starting pitcher from Jose DeLeon, strong bullpen work, the continuing red hot bat of Nick Castellanos and some add-on offense in the 8th inning.
Jose DeLeon was dynamite in his first ML start since 2016: 5 IN, 3 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 9 K....81 pitches/54 strikes. He gave up two solo shots in the first inning and then nothing else. His 9 K's tied a career high. DeLeon also picked up an RBI single for his first ML hit to get the Reds scoring underway in the 2nd inning.
Mike Moustakas clobbered a 430ft homer at 110.2 mph exit velocity to tie the game at two in the bottom of the 5th.
Nick Castellanos continued to punish the ball, clubbing a 431 foot solo shot to left-center field (108.9mph) to give the Reds a 3-2 lead in the 7th.
Breakout inning: The Reds scored twice in the 8th. Moose led off with a double and Senzel walked. Jonathan India lined an RBI single. Later, Aristides Aquiono added a two strike, two-out RBI double to make it 5-2.

Sean Doolittle took over of the 7th in 1-2-3 fashion with 2 K.....he hit 96mph after struggling to find velocity in the spring.
Lucas Sims made his season debut in the 8th: 2 K
Amir Garrett made his season debut in the 9th and promptly served up a leadoff HR to Bryan Reynolds. He put two more runners on to make things interesting before getting the final out.
