NKU 95 Cleveland State 80
The Norse (7-2/1-0) opened Horizon League play at Truist Arena with a sixth straight win. NKU saw a 14 point lead disappear five minutes into the 2nd half, but they answered with a 44-28 run to finish. NKU had five players in double figures, four w/ at least 17 points. LJ Wells had a monster game, becoming just the second player in the country this season to record at least 21 points, 10 rebounds, four blocks, two steals, and two assists on 50% shooting or better (Le Moyne's Shilo Jackson, 11/28). NKU drained 14 of 24 (56%), while Cleveland State connected on 13 of 27 (48.1%). The Norse will go for what would be their D1 best seventh straight wins on Saturday in Ft. Wayne.

Indiana 73 Minnesota 64
The Hoosiers (7-1/0-1) got bullied on the road, outrebounded 40-25, in dropping their Big 10 opener. Minnesota (5-4, 1-0) was without three key players due to injuries, and had lost three straight games. IU led 27-19 in the first half, but was outscored 54-37 the rest of the way. Tayton Conerway led the Hoosiers with 18 points. IU had beaten the Gophers nine straight times. It was season low in points for an IU team that entered the game averaging nearly 90 per game.

Arkansas 89 Louisville 80
In its first true road game of the year, the Cardinals (7-1) fell in the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Razorbacks (6-2) led by as many as 19 in the first half and controlled the glass with 18 offensive boards and 27 second chance points. UL hit just 8 of 37 from the arc for a season-low 21.6%.. UL had four players in double figures, led by Mikel Brown Jr.'s 22 points. Ryan Conwell scored 15, to become the 17th player in DI this season to score at least 1,500 career points.

Youngstown St. 69 Wright State 68
The Raiders (4-5/0-1 Horizon) dropped their Horizon League opener on the road. The lead changed 17 times and the sides were tied on seven more instances. Andrea Holden hit one of two free throws with :24 to play to give the Raiders a one-point lead. But Youngstown State's Rich Rolf hit two free throws with :09 remaining to give the Penguins (5-4/1-0) the win. Michael Imariagbe finished with 15 points to lead WSU.

Ohio 79 Maine 57
10 different Bobcats (2-6) scored in the home win. They were led by Javan Simmons, who had 17 points, four rebounds and three assists. The Bobcats outrebounded the Black Bears by 16 and dished out 18 assists.
