Should the Bengals go after Victor Cruz?

Victor Cruz was released by the New York Giants today. I've gotten texts, emails and tweets about Cruz. 

The Bengals should upgrade at wide receiver in free agency or the draft. They need a deep threat who can stretch the defense on the opposite side of A.J. Green. Cruz will play somewhere in 2017, but it won't be in Cincinnati. He's a slot wide receiver who's battled a bunch of injuries in recent seasons. The Bengals already have a capable slot receiver in Tyler Boyd. Adding Cruz wouldn't help the Bengals' offense. I elaborate on this in the podcast below.
