News recently broke that Republicans in Michigan are considering Kid Rock as a candidate for the Senate seat currently held by Democrat Debbie Stabenow, but there's another rocker who might want to run for that office - Ted Nugent.
When The Nuge saw the story abut Kid Rock, he shared it on his Facebook page with the caption, "If these GOP sonsabitches dont get it right this time I will come charging in as the ultimate WE THE PISSED OFF PEOPLE Mr FixIt Consitutional firebreathing s—kicker candidate from hell!"
The Motor City Madman backed up his comments in an interview with the Daily Caller, stating, "I’m always very interested in making my country and the great state of Michigan great again and there is nothing I wouldn’t do to help in any way I possibly can."
He added that his campaign slogan would be "Make Michigan Michigan again" and that his campaign song would be a very loud "Stranglehold."
If Ted does want to run for office in Michigan, he'll have to make a change in his life first. Nugent currently resides on a 300 acre ranch in Texas. He'll have to move back to his home state of Michigan and live there for 30 days to re-establish residency.
If he does that and Kid Rock also throws his hat in, then the two will face each other in a primary in 2018.
