New to the Cincinnati Open this year was the Community Day festivities that centered around two big events, the tournament draw, and the legends doubles match.

The billing for the match was originally John Isner and Andy Roddick facing off against Andre Agassi and Mardy Fish. Mardy Fish withdrew from the match and was replaced by American Olympic Doubles Bronze Medalist Tommy Paul. Umpiring the match was tennis legend Lindsay Davenport, and providing special commentary and line judging was fellow legend and wife of Agassi Stefanie Graf.

This match was far from a normal doubles match, with all players being mic'd up providing their own commentary lead mostly by Agassi and Roddick. The team of Agassi and Paul would wind up taking the match with a score of 7-5, 6-4.

After the match, there was a check presentation as all the proceeds of the community day were donated to Cincinnati Children's Hospital. The donation totaled $150,000.
