Good news: Reds scored. Bad news: Red lost again.

Good news: 
They finally scored…after 35 innings….the fourth longest scoreless streak in franchise history.

Bad news: 
They were no-hit two outs into the 7th inning before a Gavin Lux single. 
That’s four straight one run losses and a 2-6 record. 
They have lost 21 of the last 28 to the Brewers. 

Per Jay Morrison: It's the first time since 1987 the Reds have lost four consecutive 1-run games. And seventh time since at least 1901.

9th inning: Trailing 3-2, Santiago Espinal singled with one out. Matt McLain, scratched from the lineup with left hamstring tightness, pinch-hit and lined out to center field. TJ Friedl flies out. 

Offense: 5 hits….14 over the last four games (4-3-2-5).......14 for 122 (.115).
With one out in the 6th, Elly attempted to bunt for their first hit, but bounced out softly to the pitcher. 

Breaking the ice: Trailing 3-0 in the 8th, CES broke the ice with a sacrifice fly and Jeimer Candelario added another run with an RBI double.

Brice Turang's two-run homer in the 5th made it 3-0 Brewers

Bullpen: 3.1 scoreless innings from Ashcraft, Rogers, Suter, Santillan.
