Reds bats come alive, beat Sox to avoid sweep

The Reds (21-24) pounced on the White Sox for three first inning runs and then kept adding on in avoiding a sweep. It was a three homer day, with long balls from Elly De La Cruz, Will Benson and Matt McLain. 

Nick Martinez took care of the rest, tossing seven shutout innings. The White Sox spoiled the shutout bid with an 8th inning run off Taylor Rogers.
