Reds rally to stun Tigers, take series

Wow. What a turn of events. The Reds had been 0-29 when trailing after seven innings this season. 

Sunday, they rallied from a 4-2 deficit with four runs in the 8th to stun the Tigers and take the road series from the team with the best record in baseball.  

Elly homered for a fourth consecutive game with a two run shot in the 9th. 

The Reds (37-35) hadn’t won their last 39 series when dropping the opening game. They finish the road-trip 4-2, and have won 7 of 9.

The Reds punished the Tigers for their three errors (deserved a fourth), with five unearned runs.
