Reds 3 Cubs 2
TJ Friedl lined a two-out, two-strike RBI single to break a 7th inning tie.
Ke'Bryan Hayes made a do-or-die charge and throw to end the 7th, that prevented the tying run from scoring. Dansby Swanson was initially ruled safe for an RBI infield single, but the Reds (59-54) won their challenge.
Considering what this team has faced the last 72 hours, that's a pretty ballsy win.
One day after having to cover 8.0 innings, the Reds bullpen was asked to cover 7.1 more, when Nick Lodolo exited in the 2nd with a blister on his index finger.
