The Reds are not buyers as the Major League Baseball trade deadline approaches at the end of the month.

Also, the weather gets hot in the summer. Ice is cold. The Bengals have a hard time winning playoff games. I’ll never be asked to pose for a magazine’s body issue. I’m nothing if not a master of stating the obvious.

The Reds aren’t in buy mode. No kidding, right?

But they’re not in sell mode, either.
