I love the fact that the Bengals have cut Brandon LaFell.
If that sounds harsh, it’s not meant to be. By all accounts, Brandon is a decent dude, and by listening to the team’s leftover wideouts, he was a good teammate and a willing mentor to the young guys. He did his duty here, serving as a bridge from Marvin Jones and Mohamad Sanu to Tyler Boyd and John Ross, and he played pretty capably during his two seasons in stripes. He’s a reliable wide receiver.
That’s why I’m glad he’s gone.
